SCHOOL HOURS
Morning: 9.00am – 12 noon
Afternoon: 1.00pm – 3.15pm
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
All Infant School children must be accompanied to and from school by an adult
everyday throughout their time at the Infant School. The school bell is rung at 8.50am and children are collected from the playground by their teachers. If parents wish to speak to the Headteacher or office staff they should enter the building through the front entrance.
Parents should collect their children from the classroom door at the end of the
afternoon. A child will only be handed over to a parent unless instructions are
given for collection by another named adult.
SAFETY OUTSIDE SCHOOL
Parents should not use the staff car park at any time. Parking outside the school is limited and parents are advised to park their car at a distance from the school and walk in, if at all possible. If a car journey is essential, please do not obstruct the school approach road or the entrance or exit of the lay-by and leave a passing space through the parked vehicles. Walking, cycling or scooting will reduce congestion and make the journey to school more enjoyable.
As part of our travel plan initiative we have storage for cycles and scooters and we encourage parents to make a promise to park away from the school and walk in if at all possible
